There are some great images from Guruji’s memorial in Mysore, India on this Flickr photostream. (Thanks for posting this link, Elephantbeans!) There are quite a few images (and a couple of videos) included here, and we found it helpful to view the photostream as a slideshow. The first half of the slideshow features photos of the traditional Indian memorial ceremony, including many shots of Guruji’s daughter Saraswati, his son Manju, and his grandson Sharath. The second half of the slideshow focuses on some of Guruji’s students from the West who travelled to Mysore on short notice for this memorial. We spotted well-known Ashtanga teachers Tim Miller, Eddie Stern, and David Swenson, as well as our very own Santa Barbara-based Steve Dwelley. :) Check it out if you have a couple of minutes!
