A Blog We Like A Lot

Friday, 3 April, 2009

Okay we’re weird, we know, but we like to look at pictures of mouthwatering, fresh, healthy food, and imagine how delicious that food must have tasted in person, and then go try to make a dish inspired by that delicious-looking food ourselves at home. We’re weird, right? :) Well, just in case you might understand where we’re coming from, even just a little bit, we thought we’d share a blog we recently discovered called The Hungry Yogini with you.

To us, it’s an ideal union: a passion for conscious food combined with a committed yoga practice. And the author is a 20-year-old (that’s right – 20!) college student in North Carolina who is as dedicated to documenting and sharing the food she eats as she is to her yoga teacher training program at the Asheville Yoga Center.  And the nice thing is that her food isn’t ultra-advanced or out-of-reach feeling at all – the dishes are prepared on the simpler side of the kitchen, which means that they’re great inspiration for the everyday enthusiastic home cook.

Give her blog a look-see if you feel so inclined!
