A couple of months ago, one of our wonderful employees, Brie, acquired a new, adorable kitten. Out of all of the possible names in the world that one might select for a pet, we were so pleasantly surprised to find out that Brie had chosen to name her new kitten Drishti, after her favorite yoga store and place of employment! In order to differentiate her cute cat from the fabulous yoga boutique (and we could certainly see people confusing the two!
), his full name is actually Drishti Don Leo… but he usually just prefers to go by ‘Drishti’.
Here are some pictures of Drishti the cat in Drishti the store. Isn’t he lovely?

Although he shares the name of our store, Drishti is unfortunately not a store-dwelling cat. He lives with Brie at home and accompanies her wherever she goes (from work to road trips to hiking – really and truly!) However, being graced with the presence of Drishti the cat during his periodic visits to the store actually sparked an idea over which we’ve been mulling for a couple of weeks: Would it be a good idea for the Drishti the store to have a lovable resident cat?
Possible cons: 1) Our cat could run out our always-open front door and either run away and never come back or wander into the dangerous car-filled street outside… gasp! 2) Some customers might not appreciate an in-store cat – maybe they’re allergic or maybe cats annoy them or…? 3) The cat would have company all day every day, but at night, when the store is closed, s/he would be all alone with no one to cuddle up next to.
Possible pros: 1) Our cat could be one of the coolest cats ever and all of our customers would find her/him irresistible and s/he could add extra coziness and personality to our store.
What do you think: Drishti cat idea – yay or nay?

oh it’s such a good idea! But what would we name it…?
Drishti II????

I have visited your wonderful yoga shoppe several times… and I treasured the experience — however I heard there are more indoor polutants then outdoor polutants therefore I would prefer max indoor freshness for the shopppe or home such as fresh flowers, fresh oxydized air, fresh store furniture&products etc but NO CAT HAIR indoor… maybe in the garden or patio?
“my Drishti suggestion: catfree&FRESH” ?
