We don’t know about you, but we like to support businesses we believe in. 
That’s why we can’t seem to stop mentioning our favorite new restaurant Julienne on our blog! Julienne opened in August just two doors down from Drishti. The restaurant is owned by a young married couple named Emma and Justin, who are both amazingly sweet and very talented. The operating principle behind their restaurant is “Local, Seasonable, & Sustainable” and to that end they loyally shop the bi-weekly Santa Barbara Farmer’s Market. They also change their menu frequently to reflect the newest and freshest ingredients available locally.
We’re featuring Julienne on our blog today because their restaurant was recently written up in the Scene section of the SB News Press. Food writer Michael Cervin gave Julienne a rave review with five stars across the board in all applicable categories. Unfortunately the SB News Press requires that you have either a subscription to their paper or pay a fee to read their articles online, but if you’re a subsriber or if you don’t mind whipping out your handy credit card , you should give the article a look! And by all means, if you haven’t tried Julienne yet, give Emma and Justin a visit in the near future and know that you will receive a delicious, nourishing meal and your dining dollars will be directly supporting a deserving local couple.
