Drishti – Santa Barbara Yoga Store: Yoga Clothing, Workout Clothes, & Yoga Supplies

Cheri Clampett, the much-loved Santa Barbara-based Therapeutic Yoga teacher, has been getting quite the attention lately.  Upon the release of her super-cool Therapeutic Yoga Kit a few months ago, Cheri was featured along with fellow yoga therapist Arturo Peal in a noteworthy Santa Barbara News Press article.  And hot off the presses today is a lengthy and detailed Santa Barbara Independent article all about Cheri.  The article discusses just about everything – Cheri’s teaching style, her monthly Therapeutic Yoga workshops, her healing work at the Cancer Center of Santa Barbara, and her aforementioned yoga kit.  Alongside the article are some great live photos from one of Cheri’s classes which were taken by the uber-talented local photographer Paul Wellman (who coincedentally happened to be our photographer for our famous Drishti ad campaign which we ran from 2003-2006.  He’s the best!)

This SB Independent article is definitely great publicity for Cheri.  And the fact that the two largest media outlets in Santa Barbara have both published prominent articles about yoga in recent months demonstrates just how accepted yoga has become into mainstream culture (at least our breezy, Southern California brand of mainstream culture. )
