Well, the biggest buzz of the moment in the SB yoga world has to be the upcoming Seane Corn workshop that’s taking place at Santa Barbara Yoga Center this weekend. Seane Corn is a bona fide yoga star, and she’s decided to visit our lil’ town of Santa Barbara to hold a two-day “Detox Flow” workshop. Word on the street is that this workshop is sold out, although the word on the street isn’t always entirely accurate. We do know that Drishti employees Catherine, Katie, and Sara are all planning on taking this fine workshop, so if you’re signed up as well, maybe you’ll see them there!
In other yoga buzz news, we’re told that Cybil Gilbertson’s classes at SBYC are intelligently-designed and rewarding. Speaking of classes at SBYC, their full list of new classes for 2009 is now available – check it out! Another yoga tidbit you might be compelled to mention at the water cooler tomorrow is that Real Bodywork, the wonderful massage-and-yoga-DVD business which is located in Santa Barbara, but whose DVDs are available both nation and worldwide, has chosen the next yoga instructor to star in one of their DVDs. Emily Kligerman will be featured in Real Bodywork’s forthcoming Yoga for Back Care DVD. She will lead viewers through sequences of her own design in this sure-to-be-excellent DVD. We’ll let you know when it’s available! (It will probably be a few months before the product actually hits the shelves.)
