It’s a cloudy day in SoCal as I finish packing to head up to what is proported to be one of the hottest fetivals this summer (in more ways than one, perhaps)…Wanderlust. It’s a festival combining yoga and music, with an impressive lineup that includes Jai Uttal playing for John Friend’s class, MC Yogi rapping with Sianna Sherman and Shiva Rea, among others. I’m looking forward to dancing to Michael Franti Saturday night, love Gillian Welch and just last night I had a conversation with someone who was telling me that they thought Spoon was the best band out there right now.
