Mike Myers is starring in a new comedy slated for release on June 20 called “The Love Guru”. In the film, he plays the “oversexed, overly ambitious, American-born spiritual leader” named Guru Pitka, who sounds like Borat for the all-too-familiar Hindu-Influenced New Age Guru Community. His favorite catch phrase is “prepare to get your enlightenment freak on” (!) and on his MySpace page, where you can learn much more about Guru Pitka, his top friends consist of A-List celebrities followed by popular Eastern spiritual figures (Ramana Maharshi, The Dalai Lama). Who among us can think of a real-live person, or several, whom Mike Myers might be parodying?
