Guys! Have you heard about the Wanderlust Festival? It is right up our alley. It’s a combination music & yoga festival – the first of its kind that we’ve seen! Music festivals are quite plentiful (Coachella, Bonnaroo, Rothbury, etc…), but music AND yoga festivals? Not so much.
Wanderlust boasts a musical lineup of well-known bands such as Michael Franti & Spearhead, Spoon, Broken Social Scene, Rogue Wave, and many more. And listed right alongside the musical acts on the festival’s nicely-designed flyer are the lineup of headlining Yoga Journal-cover crowd teachers: John Friend, Shiva Rea, Annie Carpenter, Doug Swenson, and many more.
We are intrigued by the creative idea of merging a music festival with a yoga conference, and we have high hopes that this event will be a major success! Wanderlust is taking place July 24-26 in the gorgeous setting of Squaw Valley, North Lake Tahoe. Check out all of the details here. Perhaps we’ll see you there?
