You shot yourselves in the foot by doing it because your "non-religious" religion of yoga is being shot down across the US in public schools. If you dont think yoga is a religion you obviously have not looked into its roots. Teaching a non-religious yoga is like teaching Christianity without Jesus or Budism without Budah or Mahommad or Islam without Ali....it doesn't work. If you are "just using it for exercise" you could stay away from the "religion of yoga" and do gymnastics without issue. They say their kids focus better, concentrate harder, and are in better spirits after yoga. We don't go into religion, but we do go into being mindful, respectful, and loving.
